"Spyder"

Sadly, we lost Spyder this year at the young age of 10, to glomerular nephritis, an autoimmune form of kidney disease. I still miss her terribly.

Spyder was my keeper from Cricket's first litter. She's a beautiful little dog, all seventeen pounds of her! She did great in the show ring, but she really excels in performance events. She's the perfect combination of normal energy with high drive, meaning she's not hyper, but she loves to work! In fact, she's quite the couch potato and love bug, but is very eager to please.

She earned High in Trial at the 2006 Manchester National Specialty to achieve her CD title. Her temperament is wonderful, she's extremely steady and biddable. She was always the one I'd hand off to a stranger at the shows so that I could handle less experienced show dogs.
